Installation and use of your L'OR BARISTA Original & Sublime coffee machine

Now you can prepare ristrettos and espressos, lungos and lattes, all in the comfort of your own home, with a double shot of espresso or even prepare two drinks at once. How do you set up and use a L'OR BARISTA coffee machine?

Before first use, remove all of the protective packaging from the machine. If this is your first time using your machine, or if you haven't used it in a while, follow these steps:

  • Remove the water tank and fill it completely;
  • Replace the water tank correctly on the machine and place a bowl under the spout.
  • Press the on/off button - The on/off button will flash slowly to indicate that the machine is heating up.
  • Press the lungo button to start dispensing water from the water tank.Water will flow from the spout.
    Note: When the internal water circuit is empty, the machine hums. This hum is less loud when water is flowing through the nozzle. This noise is normal.
  • Once all the buttons remain lit, the machine is ready.

How to use the L'OR BARISTA to make coffee?

With L'OR BARISTA coffee machines, making barista-worthy coffees has never been easier. You can choose from a range of delicious coffee drinks: prepare filter coffee, espressos, or milk-based drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos. Ready to taste your first drink?

  • Select the coffee capsule of the type and size of coffee you want to brew.
  • Use the new L'OR BARISTA double capsule for a double shot of coffee.
  • Use a classic L'OR Espresso capsule to prepare a normal coffee.
  • The machine automatically recognizes the capsule size and adjusts the amount of water accordingly.

L'OR BARISTA machines have been designed to be used with L'OR Espresso classic capsules and L'OR BARISTA double espresso capsules to deliver L'OR BARISTA coffees of the highest quality. They can also be used with Nespresso capsules and most other Nespresso®* compatible capsules. These machines immediately recognize the capsule you have inserted and will use the perfect amount of water for your cappuccino, lungo, or ristretto.
